Leonardo DiCaprio swapped his star power for some pedal power yesterday as he took in the sights of the City of Light. The Hollywood actor was joined by his Israeli model girlfriend, Bar Refaeli, and dressed down the beautiful couple almost managed to mix into the throngs of Parisian tourists - but not quite!
Try as he might DiCaprio just wasn't able to fully escape from his work though, as the two stopped for a breather they were confronted with a giant poster for DiCaprio's new film, Inception. DiCaprio is currently in Europe promoting the movie - the Paris premiere was held on Saturday night at Gaumont Champs Elysees.
The science fiction action thriller, directed by Christopher Nolan, has garnered rave reviews. DiCaprio plays Dom Cobb, a skilled thief who steals people's secrets from their subconscious minds during their sleep.
The movie also stars Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Michael Caine and Tom Berenger. 35-year-old DiCaprio and Refaeli, 25, have been dating since November 2005. The pair met at a Las Vegas party that was held for Irish band U2.
Refaeli stirred controversy when it was revealed that the Victoria's Secret and Sports Illustrated swim suit model had married a 37-year-old family aquaintance in 1994 to avoid compulsary military service in the Israel Defense Force, which is mandatory for all Israelis over the age of 18. Married women are exempt from being enlisted.
Refaeli filed for divorce a short time later and she began dating DiCaprio. DiCaprio has a taste for foreign born supermodels. Before meeting Refaeli he dated Gisele Bundchen. The pair dated for six years before DiCaprio moved his affections on to Refaeli.
Not only did Refaeli steal Bundchen's man, she also replaced her as the hottest model on the runway for American lingerie giants Victoria's Secret, who Bundchen had worked for for five years. She then went on to become the new face of Rampage, once again usurping Bunchen who had been their previous spokesperson.
But you can spare your tears when it comes to the Brazilian born beauty. She's proved that there is life after Leo - she recently married American football star Tom Brady, and the pair have a beautiful six-month-old baby boy together, Benjamin.
