Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli has transcended modeling and is on her way to becoming a brand. Sure dating Leonardo DiCaprio helped, but she’s doing it on her own now. Refaeli is back in the January issue of GQ’s UK edition with a wet and wild photo shoot. The magazine just can’t get enough of her. She covered the September issue.

Her on-again, off-again romance with DiCaprio lasted three years. Bar reportedly wanted to get serious, but Leo wasn’t ready to commit and that apparently ended it. While the break up may have lower Refaeli’s profile a bit, it hasn’t stopped her career from rising. Although she is best known in the United States for her appearance in Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue, she has modeled extensively.

In the Middle East she’s treated like royalty. She opened a high-end mall in Morocco on Friday (Dec. 2) with actor Clive Owen. Only a few days before that, she was partying with friends in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Being an in-demand high-fashion supermodel isn't a cakewalk. But Bar Refaeli sure makes it look easy! So what advice does the Israeli beauty have for young aspiring models trying to make it in the cutthroat world of fashion?

Refaeli appears on Monday's episode of Scouted (on E! at 10 p.m.) in which she helps mentor up-and-coming 16-year-old model Valenteen Mecham. "She's such a sweetheart," Mecham told us earlier today. "She just told me, 'Be yourself. Don't be someone you're not.' And when you're on camera, pretend like it's just you. It's just you and the camera...Pretend you're playing a character."

"It helped a lot," Mecham said. As for what it was like meeting Refaeli, Mecham gushed, "She's gorgeous. Her eyes are amazing. I'm like obsessed with them. They're really blue. She's a natural beauty."

Supermodel Bar Refaeli attended a mall opening in Morocco on Friday night dressed in a gorgeous fringed black gown. Clive Owen also walked the red carpet during the event, which celebrated the grand opening of a state of the art shopping center that is meant to cater to luxury shoppers in the African country.

Refaeli has been quite the world traveler lately. Just a few days ago she was partying with friends in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she tweeted, “I absolutely love Sao Paulo. I am going to come here much more often!” We hope the model will enjoy her time in Morocco as much as she enjoyed her time in Brazil!

To say that Bar Refaeli needed a cup of coffee would be an understatement. The sexy supermodel stopped in at a local Starbucks in Brazil to get that cup of coffee. Unfortunately, Bar left empty-handed. Bar Refaeli, who was in Sao Paulo, Brazil enjoying some time from friends, tweeted about her Starbucks misfortune saying:

"Spaced out" might be how Bar puts it, but others might just call the misfortune a complete 'blonde moment.' How exactly does someone walk into a coffee shop, presumably buy a cup of coffee, and walk out of the store, forgetting the coffee. One would think that the barista would at least try to track the customer down, right? This certainly didn't seem to be the case though for Bar Refaeli, who clearly was in need of that cup of coffee.

Bar Refaeli heads back to her car after enjoying a night out with friends on Friday (November 25) in Sao Paulo, Brazil. “Walked in Starbucks, ordered, paid- and left. With no coffee in my hand. I think I need to catch up on some sleeping! Hahaha. #SpacedOut,” the 26-year-old Israeli model tweeted earlier in the day.

“I absolutely love Sao Paulo. I am going to come here much more often!” Bar wrote in another tweet. Bar is currently featured in SodaStream’s 24-page magalog, which introduces the company’s new campaign, “A Sparkling Life.”The magazine/catalog for the home beverage carbonation system was photographed underwater and also includes other top models, according to a press release.

BAR Refaeli (pix) will model her own innerwear line when it launches in January. The Israeli-born supermodel has created a range of items to be worn close to the skin including undershirts, tights and camisoles for her new brand Undeez and Bar insisted all items from the comfortable basics line were personally approved by her.

She said: "We have professional designers, of course, but my ideas and input go into every single item. I try everything before it's manufactured. I choose the fabric and have the last word on the items."The collection, which is targeting the affordable to midrange price segment, is aimed at people age 25 to 45.

Before posing for the brand in January, Bar will most likely increase her workouts as she has previously revealed she makes sure to do extra exercise if she's got a big shoot coming up. She said: "I always want to look my best on a shoot, or for a fashion show, so I do an extra couple of sit-ups the night before and I drink hot water with lemon to get my metabolism kick-started in the morning and to cleanse my system, but I don't do anything crazy.

"There's nothing worse than forcing yourself to spend hours in the gym when you don't enjoy it, so I do all sorts of things to work out because I get bored easily."

The line, called Undeez, will be the Israeli model's first foray into branded products, and comfort appears to be a key concern as the website's holding page describes it as "underwear designed to simply fit".

WWD reports that the line, comprising basic items such as innerwear, undershirts, tights and camisoles, will be positioned in the midrange price sector, aimed at consumers between the ages of 25 and 45.

Undeez is set to go on sale online and in selected stores in Europe early next year, before reaching the US later in 2012. Bar's venture into the realm of underwear sees her following in the footsteps of Gisele Bündchen, who earlier this year teamed up with Brazilian company Hope for the Gisele Bundchen Intimates collection.

Australian model Elle Macpherson began the trend back in 1990, when she launched Elle Macpherson Intimates. The brand is now sold across the globe, with outlets across Europe, America, Australia and the Gulf States.

Bar will be modelling the Undeez women's line herself, although images have yet to be released. The 26-year-old is currently the face of French lingerie firm Passionata.

She is always up to something, and Bar Refaeli was spotted at the Chain of Hope’s Annual Gala in London, England. The Isreali model looked stunning in a floor-length gown as she posed for pictures inside the Natural History Museum.

In other news, Bar recently attended the MTV European Music Awards held at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast. Ms Refaeli was among the many celebrity presenters along with the likes of Hayden Panettiere, Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Tourism Minister Stas Meseznikov issued last-minute personal pleas, urging the public to cast their votes for the Dead Sea in the New 7 Wonders of Nature contest, which concludes Friday, 11/11/11, at 1:11 p.m. Israel time.

The Dead Sea, representing Israel, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority, currently ranks among the top 10 of the 28 contestants still remaining in the competition, sponsored by the New7Wonders Foundation.

Stressing the importance of a Dead Sea win to Israeli tourism, the government has poured millions of shekels and led a widescale public relations campaign toward securing the win since the spring. According to the contest website and a tweet from the Tourism Ministry, votes for the Dead Sea have “accelerated” in the past day.

In his own words of outreach, the prime minister emphasized that winning the competition would help further development of the region. “Winning will transform the Dead Sea into one of the leading tourist sites in the world and will contribute greatly not only to us, but also to other countries in the region, and will increase regional cooperation,” Netanyahu said. Meseznikov implored citizens to contribute to this “national effort” in the last two days of the contest.

“We believe in victory and strive for it,” Meseznikov said. “The meaning of a win for the Dead Sea in the competition is the addition of hundreds of thousands of new tourists, which will bring about the creation of thousands of new jobs, contribute tens of millions of shekels to the state treasury and contribute to the creation of a positive image for the state as an attractive tourist destination.”

In the two days that remain, a national effort is required for the lastminute encouragement of friends, relatives and acquaintances in Israel and abroad to vote for the Dead Sea and bring it the coveted title, he said.

In addition to government figures across the political spectrum, the competition has gained the support of many Israeli artists, such as singer Laila Malcos, photographer Elhanan Yair and fashion designer Osnat Subah, as well as American naked installation giant Spencer Tunick. And on Wednesday afternoon, the salty sea also gained the public backing of Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli.

At about 2 p.m., Refaeli tweeted: “Have you voted already for the Dead Sea? Competition for New 7 Wonders of World is concluding in two days!!!!! Text ‘Dead Sea’ to the number 2244.”
